DATELINE AT LARGE (DM) -- Alright, A.O. Scott and the right-coast Times have asked readers today what they think the most important films of the last decade are ... I've posted my own list on the Times' comment section and have also posted it below, and on Facebook.  What do you think?

2) Syriana (2005)

3) The Royal Tenenbaums (2001)

  1. I've got minor quibbles with The Royal Tennenbaums and Crash being on the list. Otherwise, fine choices.

  2. What? Anyone who knows the editors of Drifter Media knows that 'The Royal Tenebaums' is THE quintessential American-dysfunctional-family film of all time -- Gene Hackman at his best! And 'Crash' covers race relations in America.
